Andrew Hall - Volunteering
Over the years I have lent myself to a number of causes.
Most recently I helped Laurie Normandeau who was raising money for cancer research as part of a sponsored climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro in northern Tanzania.
she raised $16,000 for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. Laurie is still climbing - donate for her current climb.

I helped in a number of ways:
- I was master of ceremonies at one of the fund raising events.
- I contributed two items to a silent auction, both of which were to make "Videos" for people using still and moving pictures and music of their choice.
- I put up a web site to help keep sponsors, donors and others informed and involved in the process.
- I helped in putting together a presentation of photographs in Powerpoint on her return.
Laurie made it to the top at 19,340 feet with her camera still working. She took a lot of great photographs on the way.
