I have a good understanding of statistical methods and their application to business generally.
I have used statistical methods in my research and I have taught Applied Business Statistics to undergraduates an presented seminars on Minitab, Excel and SAS.
Quantitative Concepts in Management - STAT-141
STAT-141 was the first semester of a two semester sequence in applied business statistics for Isenberg School of Management majors at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst..
Emphasis was on understanding and interpreting statistical information and using it to form sound judgments in business situations. Students acquired an understanding of data summarization, probability principles, random variables and probability distributions, random sampling and sampling distributions, and statistical inference.
Taught in a classroom using Powerpoint, Chalk, Minitab and Excel.
Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business II
I taught a similar class at Framingham State College.
MBA Statistics Software Seminars.
I presented four half day seminars on the use of statistical software to MBA students of the Isenberg School of Management.
